- String of Pearls, or Senecio rowleyanus, is a must-have trailing house plant. It is perfect for decorating living room shelves or a chest of drawers as does not require much sun light to thrive. This is because its pea-like leaves have vertical, semi-translucent lines which assists photosynthesis in low light conditions.
- String of Pearls is a remarkably drought tolerant and easy to grow plant. It is a perfect gift for those forgetful friends & family who occasionally miss waterings as it copes admirably with very little water.
- String of Pearls can feature in an outdoors hanging baskets in summer. They withstand low temperatures but not frost. However, overwintering in a cool place such as a conservatory will encourage flowering. Flowers appear on tall, slender stems as small, white fuzzy daisies.
- We offer live plants in a variety of sizes. The pots dimension is an upper diameter of the nursery pot. The decorative ceramic or concrete pots, if selected, will arrive in addition to the plants in plastic nursery pots and will fit perfectly. Please note that the decorative pots have no drainage holes.
